Information Body Purification:
Body purification some time called Panchakarma or Panchasodhana in Ayurveda. It is the process in which any one can detoxify there body according to Ayurveda. Panchakarma or panchasodhana holds five process which are :
- Vamana (Emesis),
- Virechana (Purgation),
- (i)Niroohavasti (Decoction enema), (ii) Anuvasanavasti (Oil enema),
- Nasya (Instillation of medicine through nostrils),
- Rakthamoksha (Blood letting).

About five panchakarma process:
1.Vamana (emesis)
Vamana Karma is a Sanskrit word which also known as medical emesis or medical vomiting. It is one of the pradhana karma of Panchakarma process.
This treatment is carried out in the early morning on empty stomach. One night before the therapy
It is compulsory for the patient to have Kapha aggravating foods then next day depending on patients condition, heat is applied to the region of chest as well as the back portion to liquefy the Kapha. Proper rest is advised after undergoing the Vamana therapy.
2.Virechana (Purgation)
It is the second form of Panchakarma by which Pitta dosha can be removed from the body system.
Normally we perform this particular karma in the diseases of Alimentary canal like chronic constipation, indigestion, anorexia, worm infection etc.
In this method of detoxification and purification, the doshas are removed in the form of faeces through the rectum. It is a safe procedure without side effects.
3.(i) Niroohavasti (Decoction enema)
It is 3rd most useful process of panchakarma in Ayurveda .It is also called Asthapana basti. This process eliminates the Morbid Doshas or diseases from the body.
3.(ii) Anuvasanavasti (Oil enema)
Anuvasanavasti is a specialized Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatment for Vata Imbalance disorders. In this process oils and fats are administered as enema. Sushruta has name it ‘Snahika Vasti’ .
4. Nasya (Instillation of medicine through nostrils)
Nasya is a kind of Panchakarma treatment for body cleansing a used in Ayurvedic medicine. Administration of drugs by the route of nasal cavity is termed as nasya karma. Pradhamana nasya is used by ayurvedic physicians and have been found useful to treat chronic sinusitis.
5. Rakthamoksha (Blood letting)
In Ayurvedic panchakarma Rakthamoksha or Blood letting is the last form of body purification therapies.When Toxins accumulate in the blood and reach every tissue and cell of the body then in this case toxins cause different problems like infections, skin diseases. Children, elderly people, pregnant woman, etc are not allowed to take this therapy.
