On Friday 18th May Jet Airways Announced that they are going to start direct flight from Mumbai to Manchester in first week of November. This new service will be the first direct nonstop  service from India to Manchester.  The services will operate for four days every week including Monday, Thrusday, Saturday, Sunday.
