When Lord Shiva is not present, Goddess Parvati carved Lord Ganesha with her sandalwood paste and established him as warden while she was bathing. As an optimal child, Ganesh obeyed the directions of his mother and did not permit anyone into the house. Though he did not know of Lord Shiva, he precluded him from entering the house when he came. This turned into a war between the two, and the enraged Lord Shiva slit his head. When Parvati knew this, she was inflamed and turned into the Goddess Kali, and forbidding that she would end the world. The God and Goddess begged Lord Shiva to discover any resolution to relax Goddess Kali.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Lord Shiva finds a solution and orders all his followers to pursue and search for a child whose mother had irresponsibly turned her back on her child and cut his head. On the last day of the festival, people Visarjan the Ganpati, the devotees take out a cortege and chant \u2018Ganpati Bappa Morya\u2019. Many devotees also perform the Visarjan on the third, fifth, or seventh day as per their family tradition.<br \/>\nBefore starting any ritual, ceremony, or puja, we worshiped Lord Ganesha first.
