Sattal or Sat Tal is an interconnected gathering of seven freshwater lakes arranged in the Lower Himalayan Range close Bhimtal, a town of the Nainital area in Uttarakhand, India. Amid the British Raj, the zone had a tea manor, one of four in the Kumaon region around then. The lakes sit at a height of 1370 meters beneath rich plantations in the Mehragaon valley. Set among thick woodlands of oak and pine trees, Sattal is one of only a handful couple of untainted and unpolluted freshwater biomes in India.
