One of the most eagerly awaited festivals, Taj Mahotsav, is organized every year from  Friday, the 18th of February, and will continue for 10 days until Sunday, the 27th of February.

Started in the year 1992, this celebration is in its 26th year this time. The next Taj Mahotsav will be organized in 2020. You can likewise have a chance to observe the Taj Mahal on a full moon day amid the celebration on 22nd February. The scene is without a doubt a delightful one and shouldn’t be missed out!

History of Taj Mahotsav Festival

The festival is being commended each year since 1992. The significant attractions of Taj Mahotsav are the exhibitions, performances, fairs, and food of this celebration.

Indian artists, screenwriters, people craftsmen, musicians, folk artists, dramatists, and various craftsmen gather altogether at the 10 days long celebration and enrich nature. Entry Fee

How to reach

Shilpgram, a craft village in an area of 11.5 acres of land, is located just 500-600 m from the Eastern entryway of Taj Mahal. It is the official parking for Taj Mahal and is the venue for Taj Mahotsav every year.

By Air: Major cities in India are connected to Agra with the airport in Agra or Kheria.

By Rail: Agra Railway station has trains to almost every major city in India.

By Road: The state transport has deluxe and ordinary buses to other places in UP as well as outside the state.
