The Bikaner Camel Festival is annually organized camel festival by the Ministry of Tourism, Rajasthan and cultural extravaganza held in the city of Bikaner.
Bikaner Camel Festival attracts thousands of visitors every year from every nook and corner of the World. On this occasion, thousands of local people, from near and far, come to Bikaner with their Camels. In addition, the folk dancers, painters, sculptures and musicians visit the fair and perform their art.
The women folk put up their colorful shops selling handicrafts, embroidered rural dresses, silver and brass jewelry, leather shoes for men and women with mirror work and what not.
Camels and other animals are decorated with rich colored clothes and costumes. The event mainly includes spectacular camel performances like camel dances, camel races, neck shaking camel rides. Many cultural activities also take place during these days such as – Folk Dance and Music Performances, Fascinating Fire Dance, Colorful Puppet Shows and many more activities.
The Bikaner Camel Festival gives you a chance to indulge in the unique camel milk sweetmeats and camel milk tea.
The Camel Festival ends with a spectacular firework display in the skies of Bikaner which illuminates the festival endings.

Bikaner boasts of several activities for its visitors to enjoy. In fact, it is best known to give out the best riding camels in the country. Bikaner allows you to go shopping and make a visit to Junagarh Fort, Bikaner camel breeding farm, Deshnok Karni Mata Temple and Gajner Palace Bikaner.
How to reach Bikaner:
Bikaner is located in close proximity to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, it is accessible by flight, road or even rail from anywhere without any trouble.
From Air: Bikaner has Domestic Civil Airport Nal Airport which is located 15 km west of the city. Flights from Delhi and Jaipur Airports are available.
From Train: Bikaner railway station is a major Railway Junction in North Western Railway zone of Indian Railways. So it connects well with all the major cities of India like Delhi, Jaipur and Agra.
From Road: National Highway 11 (NH11) and National Highway 62 (NH62) passes through Bikaner. The city is well connected with Delhi (496 km), Jaipur (274 km), Agra (280 km), Sri Ganganagar, Jodhpur, Alwar, Rewari and many other cities.

DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI
You will arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport T3. Here you will be met by our representative who will welcome you in the Indian traditional way. Later you will be transferred to your hotel. Check-in in your hotel.
Night stay in Delhi.
DAY 02: DELHI
Breakfast at your hotel.
Later our guide will join you for a full day tour of Old and New Delhi. Delhi, with the history of 5,000 years is amongst the most wonderful and historical cities across the Globe. Here you can find the traces of 08 cities of Delhi built over the passage of time.
In the morning we visit New Delhi. We drive through India Gate, President House, Parliament House and other Govt. Buildings. Later we visit Humanyu’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutab Minar (the 73 meters high victory tower)
The afternoon we visit Old Delhi: Red Fort, Jama Masjid (The Friday Mosque which can house 20,000 person for prayers at one time). We also visit
Chandni Chowk (the central square of Old Delhi). Here we will do a two hours cycle rickshaw ride to visit narrow but colorful bazaars of Old Delhi. Finally, we visit Raj Ghat – the cremation place of Mahatma Gandhi.

DAY 03 : DELHI – AGRA DRIVE ( 215 km / 3:30 Hrs )

Subsequently, we drive to Agra via Yamuna Expressway (our english speaking driver and the airconditioned vehicle will be with us during the whole tour till we fly out of Jaipur on day 08. Upon arrival in Agra, check-in in your hotel and rest for a while.
Afternoon (around 01.30 PM our guide will join you for the tour of Agra. We visit Agra Fort and The Tomb of Itmad Ud Daula. You may stay in Agra Fort till sunset to view Taj Mahal.
Free time for shopping
Night stay in Agra.
DAY 04 : AGRA – JAIPUR DRIVE ( 241 Km / 4:30 Hrs )
Early morning start with a sunrise view of THE IMMORTAL TAJ MAHAL. A dream turned into a white marble mausoleum. A gift of a beloved husband to his wife.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Later drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri – The abandoned capital city built by Great Mughal emperor Akbar.
On arrival in Jaipur, transfer to the hotel an check-in.

DAY 05: JAIPUR
Early breakfast
Jaipur – It is the capital city of Rajasthan and also known as THE PINK CITY. Jaipur offers a unique blend of Rajasthani architecture, Forts, Palaces and Havelis. With its colorful people and busy market streets decorated with colorful shops, it is a paradise for global travelers.
We start our day with Excursion Trip to Amber Fort – The Old Capital City of Jaipur located outside 15 km from the present City. Here we will ride a decorated elephant to go atop the hill. (Elephant ride is on direct payment basis).
Later you have sightseeing of Jaipur city with the tour guide. Visit City Palace, Hawa Mahal, (THE PALACE OF WINDS), Jal Mahal (Water Palace), Albert Museum and Birla Temple.
Later in the evening not to miss a wonderful shopping opportunity
Finally come back to the hotel.

DAY 06: JAIPUR – BIKANER
After Jaipur you will go to Bikaner – THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TOUR – BIKANER CAMEL FESTIVAL is awaiting you.
Upon arrival check in into your Hotel. Then the rest of the day to explore various facets of the Bikaner Camel Festival. These two days you can wander around Fair Grounds. Small roadside shops decorated with local handicrafts. (Bangles, Jewellery, Trinkets etc)
Dinner and overnight stay in your Hotel.
DAY 07: BIKANER
After breakfast, you will again the visit Bikaner Camel Festival glimpses. Whole day free for watch every ingredient that makes Rajasthan a distinct place can be spotted in the fair including men dressed in colorful traditional clothes, women in mirrored skirts and vivid shawls, embroidered clothes, exquisitely designed jewelry, pots and ornaments. DAY 08: BIKANER – DELHI FLY
