2. Elephant ride at Amber Fort, Jaipur

Here is detailed information about its itinerary that you’ll experience with Noble House Tours:

Day 1
Departure from Delhi

The starting point of this luxurious train journey is Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi every Wednesday, where guests are welcomed aboard with a traditional Indian ceremony. After the ceremony, guests are guided to their cabins by the friendly staff and served with refreshments and drinks. Then, a brief about train facilities is provided to the guests, and all guests enjoy dinner on board in two high-end restaurants. After the dinner, we depart from the station to the next railway station.

Day 2
Jaipur – The Pink City

The first stop on the Palace on Wheels train route is Jaipur, the capital city of the Land of Kings, where guests are served breakfast on board. After breakfast, guests head out to visit the Albert Hall Museum, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and other attractions in the city. Lunch is served to guests at the deluxe Lohagarh Fort Resort, and after that, they enjoy elephant rides at Amer Fort. In the evening, the guests return on board and are served dinner; after that, we depart for our next destination.

Day 3
Discover Sawai Madhopur & Jodhpur

Third day of the Palace on Wheels train journey with Noble House Tours is full of thrill, as the train arrives at Sawai Madhopur, home to the best place in India to spot Royal Bengal Tigers. Guests are served breakfast at a lodge, and then they enjoy an open jeep jungle safari ride in Ranthambore. After the safari ride, guests return on board and are served lunch, and then the train departs for the next destination, Jodhpur. By the afternoon, the train reaches the home of the majestic Chittorgarh Fort, where they can enjoy sightseeing and a stunning sound and light show. Day 3 ends with a delicious dinner served on board, and after that, we depart for the next location.

Day 4
Udaipur: The City of Lakes

Fourth day of this luxurious train journey allows our guests to explore the beautiful city of lakes. When the train arrives at Udaipur, the guests are first served with lunch, and then they head out to explore the City Palace, Lake Palace, and other attractions. In the afternoon, guests enjoy a traditional lunch at a lakeside restaurant and a painting session. After that, they enjoy a scenic boat ride to Jag Mandir on Lake Pichola. By the evening, guests return to the train and are served dinner on board.

Day 5
Jaisalmer – The Golden City

After dinner on day 4, we depart for Jaisalmer, the Golden City. Day 5 begins with breakfast on board, then guests head out to explore the stunning attractions in the city, including Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli, Gadisar Lake, and others. In the evening, guests enjoy a traditional camel ride and cultural dinner under the starlit sky.

Day 6
Jodhpur – The Blue City

Jodhpur, popular for its beautifully painted blue buildings, welcomes our guests of the Palace on Wheels on day 6. After breakfast, they head out to explore famous places in the city, including Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace, and others. Guests are served a royal lunch at Bal Samand Lake Palace, which is followed by shopping at local markets. In the evening, the guests return to the train, serve dinner, and then we head to the next destination on this route.

Day 7
Bharatpur & Agra

Seventh day the Palace on Wheels train route with Noble House Tours is the most special, especially for bird lovers, as in the morning the train arrives at Bharatpur, home to Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Guests enjoy morning birdwatching and photography at this national park, then are served breakfast at a lodge. Then they return to the train and continue their journey to Agra. After reaching Agra, they first head out to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, and then they enjoy shopping at local markets. Lunch is served to guests at a 5-star hotel before returning to the train for the final night. After the final royal dinner in this lavish train’s high-end restaurants, we depart for the Safdarjung Station.

Day 8
Return to Delhi

We will arrive in Delhi by 7 AM, where our guests will be served the final breakfast, and this will end the 8-day and 7-night long travel journey on the Palace on Wheels with Noble House Tours.

Palace on Wheels ticket price varies based on season and occupancy type. If you book a single occupancy cabin, which is provided to only one traveller, you can enjoy more privacy, but you must pay a higher price. However, if you book a double occupancy cabin, you need to share it with another occupant, and the ticket is also split between the two occupants.
